RULES

Below are the general procedures and competition rules at FMS. For specific classes, please click on the buttons below. If you have any questions about rules or a race procedure please contact the track.

Refer to the 2025 NASCAR Rulebook. 

GENERAL: 

ENGINE, TOTAL WT // RIGHT SIDE WT CARBURETOR               

 

GM 604 Crate, 3100 lbs // 1375 lbs                          HOLLEY 650 CFM, 1” open spacer

 

GM “Upgrade”, 3100 lbs // 1375 lbs                          HOLLEY 500 CFM-HP / ULTRA-HP/ ULTRA-XP, 1” tapered spacer

 

GM “Harrington Enforcer”, 3100 lbs // 1375 lbs        HOLLEY 650 CFM, 1” open spacer

 

Ford 347 SR Crate, 3100 lbs // 1375 lbs                   HOLLEY 650 CFM, no spacer

** Chains or cables on the rear end to stop traveling when jacked up must be installed with bolt and lock nut. No quick release pins will be allowed. When jacking the car up, the frame must jack up a minimum of 2 inches before the tire clears. If not connected on both ends, it must be removed before you race.

* Must have rocker panels on both sides of the car. The rocker panels must be of matching thickness on both sides with a minimum thickness of .025" thickness, magnetic steel. It will be mandatory by July 1, 2025.

* Maximum width of body parts and side skirts between the front and rear tires is 77 1/2". The right door and quarter panel must be flat and not concaved in. 

* The rear window must have a vertical brace in it to keep it from pushing in. The rear and side windows must have all the screws / rivets in and tight. 

* If any of the body components cannot be fixed, you will add 25 lbs to the right side.
